Rifle season starts in October and runs through November.  30 miles of logging roads enable us to access our hunting areas efficiently.  A typical day is spot and stalk in the morning from a four wheel drive accessible point.  Our evening hunts are done from one of our established stands at feeding or travel routes.  We can offer a quality hunt to anyone of any physical ability through our extensive road and trail system.  The main stay of our business is our elk.  We practice a six point or better policy here at the Story Ranch.  For the hunters that purchase a combination tag we offer whitetail deer hunting on our Yellowstone River and Fridley Creek areas.  For Mule deer it is a trophy only  hunt with a trophy fee of one thousand dollars upon kill.  Mule deer will only be harvested at guides discretion.

Price $4500 per hunter for two on one hunt.
